Emily has always had a passion for creativity. From painting to miniature DIY kits, she has explored many artistic mediums, but photography has always been her true calling.
Emily’s photography journey began in elementary school with the family camera, capturing candid moments of family, friends, and her beloved dog. During summers at the family river house, Emily became the designated water sports photographer, where she discovered her love for documenting moments of adrenaline-filled action and laughter.
In 2017, Emily traveled to Iceland for a three-week photography adventure course along the Ring Road. During this trip, she sharpened her skills by learning from two professional photographers while exploring the country’s incredible landscapes. This trip remains as Emily’s absolute favorite travel experience. So far, she has visited 12 countries and hopes to continue exploring both within the United States and around the world.
Today, Emily focuses on capturing special moments and events and beautiful candids. Known for her upbeat personality and friendly approach, Emily enjoys building lasting relationships with clients and creating a relaxed, enjoyable experience during every session. During her time with AIP, Emily has photographed corporate events, professional headshots, family and heirloom portraits, engagements, weddings, charity events, and more. She especially enjoys photographing events filled with vibrant color, beautiful detail, and genuine moments of joy.
